Impressions; Rural Life

 

 

Small town life has captivated my interest for the past year, so I chose to showcase eight scenes of farms at three different times of day to mimic the long laboring life of a farmer. The nostalgia of the rural farm life fading from contemporary society is brought out with effects produced in camera. This series is focusing on the ideals of impressionist art studying the effects of lighting on their subjects, and to capture the fleeting feeling of a certain scene through color interpretation.
